What is soft water?

Soft water is the water that has been filtered out hardness, in other word metals such as Ca, Mg. Usually, hardness tends to form a sediment layer. And these sediment is critical for the machine such as a boiler. Usually, hardness is high in the underground water source, Because those minerals tend to dissolve with the water. Water with high hardness can be noticed upon using it. Water with high hardness will cause bubble from soap harder. So it easier to wash out soap with high hardness water on the other hand water with low hardness cause a lot of bubble from soap and harder to clean the soap out.

The process of producing soft water

We use softener tank with resin to absorb hardness. Using Cation resin it should be able to absorb most of the metal. When resin reaches limits of absorption the hardness of the output water will increase, Thus it needs to be regenerated in order to be working properly.
