Clarifier system

Clarifier system is the system use to produce Tap water or City water from open water sources such as lake or river, Usually this type of water source got contaminate and contain a lot of particle due to the river surface, We can solve this using Clarifier tank with chemicals such as Alum, PAC to catalyze the flocculation process. We use polymer to make the sludge form into bigger sludge then gravity will take care of the rest. We use a pre-chlorine system to terminate the micro bio-organism and bacteria. After water pass Clarifier tank it must pass sand filter to ensure no sludge will pass through. The Product of Clarifier system is Clean enough to drink. Also, the product water can be used as input for an advanced system such as RO etc.

Modern Clarifier system can be divided into 2 systems, Solid Contact and Pulsator. Pulsator is a better system in terms of Investment Cost, Operation Cost, and Space saving. For the same tank, size Pulsator can produce up to 2 times of the capacity of Solid Contact. But downsize of pulsator is it need a very careful design for the water condition and need more maintenance. On the other hand for the small system, Solid contact is the solution since smallest Pulsator is 20m³/hr

Secondary Clarifier, Sand filter

In Clarifier system we use Sand filter as a secondary clarifier to ensure the quality, Because usually most of the particles will we clean out by Clarifier but smaller particles may escape. In order to solve this problem we need to use sand filter to ensure the water quality
