Water for industry
They are many types of water, in which the water are divided by conductivity, particles, pH and many categories to meet the requirement of each industrial such as electronic, pharmaceutical, food beverage etc. We may divide water quality as followType 1 water (Ultra Pure Water)
This type of water is pinnacle in water purification industrial
conductivity less than <0.056 µS/cm
or resistivity higher than >18 MΩ.cm
This type of water is practical for Micro Electronic,
Semi-Conductor and other Electronic industry
Type 2 water (Pure Water, DI Water)
This type of water cannot be achieved by RO
conductivity less than <1.0 µS/cm
or resistivity higher than >1.0 MΩ.cm
This type of water is practical for pharmaceutical
and laboratory uses
RO System (Reverse Osmosis)
Reverse Osmosis is widely used in many industrial especially in Food and Beverage because of the reliability of the water quality, the ability to clean out bacteria and toxic. Furthermore, the water doesn’t effect the tease of the food. RO is widely used as pre-treatment for higher water quality. In some area, RO are used in desalination process
Softener
Use to produce Soft Water which was removed all the hardness (Ca, Mg). Softener can’t filter bacteria and toxic, in order to drink proper soft water UV and Ozone are require
Municipal water
Or city water usually clear and no toxic. The source of raw water usually come from these 2 sources which have different problems
- Tap water usually turbid and contaminate
- Ground water usually clear and clean but have high hardness and TDS sometimes high iron in water
